Castle Fight now features a perk system
March 2026
Today marks the first patch where castle fight features perks!
They are meant to allow you customise your gameplan a little more but be wary, each of them comes with a downside too.
On top of this, this patch features a slew of balance changes and various improvements to how the draft works. Each building now has tags that should help quickly discern the roles of the building. Many will also be happy to hear shield no longer occupies the legendary slot.
As always, everything is still a little bit experimental so feel free to leave your feedback in our Discord.
Season 23 has ended
January 2026
Today, as of 26th of January, season 23 "Nerubian" has concluded. With a new year comes a new face on the podium!
Without further ado, our champions are:
1) SaTyu
2) Ado122
3) eisz
Good luck, may your castles be strong and your fights exciting in the new season!
The games are becoming much shorter!
October 2025
The mode for W3C has been changed from "Best of 3" (-ud2) to "Best of 1" (-ud1). This means that the maximum game length is now approximately 30 minutes instead of 90 minutes.
This means shorter, more focused games, that are easier to play within a limited time period.
Due to shorter games, queue times are also reduced, and waiting for an ongoing match to finish is less of an issue.
On average the MMR fluctuation should remain the same while not keeping you for over an hour with a teammate you don't like.
Nothing is set in stone however, and we will monitor the situation and adjust if necessary.
We hope you enjoy the change!
The ultimate draft mode makes an appearance! (ver. 8.31)
October 2025
A completely new, dangerously experimental game mode has been introduced to Castle Fight on W3Champions - Ultimate Draft (-ud).
This mode is based on regular Ultimate Mode (-um), but with a twist. Instead of rolling randomly, buildings are drafted in 5 rounds. Each round you choose between two packs of 2.
This allows more agency and skill expression compared to "-um".
Please note this mode is still highly experimental and a subject to a lot of fine tuning. Feel free to provide feedback on our Discord.
Season 22 concludes
October 2025
Season 22 "Darnassus" on W3Champions has come to an end. After months of fighting and hundreds of games played the lucky three to step onto the podium are:
1) Eisz Eisz baby
2) -Ado
3) Killer "Sangria" Kunert
Congratulations to the champions and good luck in the new season!
The Pandaren race stumbles into the battle! (ver. 8.25)
July 2025
The all new, entirely custom Pandaren race has joined Castle Fight and they are about to show everyone that being sober is not required here. Show your enemies that even the fluffy bears can punch above their (fairly respectable) weight, witness the wrath of thunder, make your enemies go poof and much more.
The patch also features a global 2s cooldown after RS to help with the double striking issue (Keep in mind it doesnt fully stop you from double striking).
Moderate taxes (-mt) mode introduced to reduce the end game lag.
Multiple major improvements to sync system, most importantly once a building is upgraded to legendary, it is removed from the synchronisation chain.
Plethora of bug fixes and balance changes introduced, as always, but most importantly this included a much needed Harpy Matriarch nerf.
Please note this entire patch is W3C exclusive until a stable, bug-free version is made.
Season 21 comes to an end
June 2025
The first ranked season of Castle Fight has come to an end. The top 3 solo players for that season are:
1) Killerkunert
2) Eisz
3) Ado122
Congratulations to the winners! May the competition in the following months be even more thrilling.
